    The Block: Orange, CA

    Attendees: Calvin, George, Derrick, Jojo, Eric, Ryan, Billy, Fabian, Adam, Mico, Luis, Brandon, and Jose.


    Mico--send Ryan the QR file  (the code for cell phone cameras) to give to Jojo 

    Mico--will check to see if he has posters to give to Fabian

    Ryan--upload featured artist contest file (pdf)

    Brandon and Adam--check with Hackerspace group to see if they want to do a screening event

    Eric--check with local broadcast station contacts to see if they will show ZMF, or give Ryan contacts to check

    Derrick and Fabian--will check at respective colleges regarding tabling/club events

  • Jan 31st meeting--in Long Beach

    Attendees:  Robert, Mico, Billy, Dustin, Rohit, Louis, Ryan

    We all agreed that the Long Beach screening surpassed our expectations.  We wished we had time to do a Q&A at the end, but we realize it was late on a weekday.  We also learned that it is important to get feedback regarding which ad source prompted the public to attend (flyers, online announcement, word-of-mouth).

    We are now preparing for Z-Day (March 12th or 13th).

    We decided a venue in Huntington Beach would be most convenient to do a combined event (for the LB and OC chapters).  Dustin, Mico, and I will ..

  • Meeting: November 18th 2010, Food Court at Irvine Spectrum

    Individual tasks

    Dustin will ask Mico to register for the Moving Forward DVD from the CA chapter.

    Dustin will put down the deposit for the venue and for another month of the Meetup

    Jeremiah will get non-profit support (maybe from a time-based barter system) which will allow for the sale of beer and wine at the screening

    Dustin will send a graphic with the date/time of the screening event to us we can print and distribute at local coffee shops, Mother’s markets, The Camp…etc.
